HER FULL BACKGROUND STORY ETC.. IS AS FOLLOWS:

'Altitude Adjustment' has had an interesting history which started out as a Sunsail charter CAT and was then successfully used as a day charter yacht in the BVI with a private business owner. This is when she was sadly caught up in Hurricane Irma like so many others (She was only damaged on the hard and NOT submerged in anyway).

Based on her initial recent 2019 renovation & our extensive individual brokerage knowledge of 'AA' it was decided her renovation was going to be completed in 2020.

Having now been launched & motored to Tortola for her new rigging to be fitted & then sailed back to Virgin Gorda Marina, where she is now properly strapped down ready for all hurricanes, where she is still safely berthed for all viewings etc....

'AA's' electronics have also been updated with a new auto-pilot, plotter & re-furbished ST60 Raymarine instruments. The Port engine has also been re-built and the starboard engine has been totally replaced with a re-conditioned model (Pic's available of this work in action on request) and they are now naturally both working very well. She also has 5 newly installed batteries, 4 new solar panels fitted, a new hydraulic helming system which is now attached to the 2 beautifully re-built GRP rudders just to name a few upgrades...

She is now of course open for viewings and/or survey as you see fit but we will be honest at this stage and there is outstanding work left to do, which we know about (& Have now put it all on this YW listing for everyone) which will of course show up on any newly commissioned viewing/survey.

As a result we now of course welcome all serious inquiries & viewing requests @ (Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour) with interest if you have read everything in the marketing/Work to do campaign in detail.

FYI - You will not be able to get finance on this CAT as she stands and she is not fully insurable until the outstanding works is completed and signed off by a professional surveyor.

We would highly recommend all of this is completed before she goes to sea again.

2) She needs her original amateur fibre-glass work re-done in both hulls around the keels (from the inside) and this may well need to include replacing a few bulkheads. - (Already quoted @ $8k to be sorted by a well known local professional) - (This is shown @ $6k quote in the dropbox link)

3) The front bar/spar has got a few dents in it, which has been re-enforced and confirmed that it is strong enough to sail her today but may well need replacing in the coming years.

4) She currently has water in both bilges & no one is currently sure where the water is coming from but the good news is, that the water remains firmly in the bilges and so she is water tight.

5) There is a slight oil leak with one of the engines which could be coming from anywhere but no one seems to think it is serious. - (The Leak needs to be found and sorted).

6) Some of the 12v batteries may be dead (After 2 years of untouched Covid restricted years) and so now may well need replacing.

7) The mainsail cars are not there and/or supplied and so still need to be sourced.

8) The wind instrument is not there and but can be supplied with a confirmed purchase.

9) The new auto-pilot needs setting up and can't be synced to the GPS.

10) The mainsail is used and not the one that was damaged during Irma but we are pretty sure it is the right size for the newly fitted mast & boom.

11) The hatches have all been replaced 'bar 1' which is also replaceable.

12) The Solar panel regulators need to be checked/replaced.

13) More points to follow as/when/if they are found on the ground!.......
